We welcome comments from any registered elector on the existing and proposed arrangements. If possible your comments should include suggestions of alternative venues for polling places.

Or by email to

Representations should be made in writing to Electoral Services by no later than 2 September 2019.

Consultation will run from Monday 5 August to Monday 2 September 2019.

All comments received will made publicly available at the end of the review. No personal information such as name, address or email, will be published.

Why are we consulting?

In accordance with the requirements of the Representation of the People Act 1983, and the Electoral Administration Act 2013, we must

  • divide the parliamentary constituencies in Croydon into geographical areas, called polling districts
  • assign polling places and polling stations to each district.

We have to do this by February 2020.

Proposed changes to the existing polling districts and polling places must be agreed at the Full Council meeting, and implemented by 1 February 2020.
