Why are we doing this?
Croydon Council has been awarded the
opportunity by the Capital Ambitions Board to pilot Visbuzz, a
one-touch video calling device, to help tackle adult loneliness and isolation
through digital inclusion to boost wider well-being and social interaction.
Statistics show that adults over 55 are much more likely to feel socially
included if they have basic digital skills and access to digital services. This
will enable them to stay in touch with their friends and family.
