Why are we doing this?
Sentab is an easy to use social and communication platform for over 55's to stay in touch with their family and friends through any flat screen TV. With Sentab, you can make video calls, share photos and receive medical reminders (if desired).
The world’s population is getting older at an unprecedented rate. In the last 50 years, the number of people over the age of 65 has increased by roughly three and a half times. Between 20 to 40 percent of these people feel lonely and socially isolated, which in itself causes deterioration in health, i.e. mental decline and contributes to high rates of mortality.
Sentab works through your TV to provide video calling, with the ability to send out community messages as well as providing advice or reminders to users. Sentab is simple to use and no technical knowledge is required.
