London Youth Games



Why are we doing this?

We are currently looking for new competitors for  #Team Croydon London Youth Games Squad for 2017.

The London Youth Games is Europe's largest sports competition in which young people from across all 33 London Boroughs compete against each other in over 60 competitions across 33 different sports. The games are free and open to all young people, aged between 8 and 18, living in or going to school in London.

The London Youth Games season runs from November with competitions in February, March, May and June, the finals taking place in early July at Crystal Palace National Sport Centre.

 

What do we want to know?

In order to represent Croydon at this event you must qualify through at least one of the following criteria:

  • live in Croydon
  • attend school or college in Croydon.

Each sport has different age bands. You must also be in the correct age bracket for the sport you are interested in. Please refer to the "Sport and Eligible Ages" document which can be found on http://www.croydon.gov.uk/lyg to check if the you are eligible for the sport you would like to be considered for.
