Have your say on the proposed closure of St Andrew's CE High School from August 2020

Why are we doing this?

St Andrew's Church of England High School is a voluntary aided mainstream school for boys and girls and is located at Warrington Road, Croydon, CR0 4BH.

The school is part of the educational provision of the Southwark Diocesan Board of Education and the London Borough of Croydon.

Between 15 March and 26 April, Croydon Council, in consultation with St Andrew’s governing board and the Southwark Diocesan Board of Education, led on the pre-publication consultation allowing stakeholders to comment on the proposed closure of St Andrew’s from August 2020.

Analysis of the 145 responses received during the pre-publication consultation period formed the basis of the outcomes report. The pre-publication outcomes report was presented to the Executive Director of Children, Families & Education and the Cabinet Member for Children, Young People & Learning for a decision to progress to the next step of consultation known as the representation period.

The pre-publication outcomes report is available at www.croydon.gov.uk/st-andrews-school.

The purpose of the representation period is to allow any persons to send objections or comments to the Local Authority within four weeks of the publication date.

This consultation will run from 25 June to 25 July 2019.
