As a lead local flood authority, we have a legal responsibility to prepare a Local Flood Risk Management Strategy (LFRMS) about how we plan to manage flood risk in the borough.
The LFRMS includes details of the roles and responsibilities for flood risk management and an assessment of flood risk, objectives for managing flood risk, measures to achieve those objectives, and an action plan for the borough for the next five years.
We have updated our strategy for 2023-28 and would like to hear your views on the draft. We are particularly keen to hear from Croydon residents and businesses who may be at higher risk of flooding.
